The Will Cru Team went to California wine country and enjoyed a private tour of The Donum Estate located in Carneros. Carneros is situated on the north side of San Francisco Bay. The area is best known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir due to the cooler climate. As you travel north towards Calistoga, the temperatures are generally hotter than the southern region. Donum Estate visits can only be made by reservation only and are extremely difficult to get.

As we approached the entry gate, we were greeted by Ivy Wang, the estate ambassador with a healthy pour of Rosé. We started our tour of the grounds and immediately encountered beautiful sculptures. The owners of the winery, Allan and Mei Warburg, are art collectors and have transformed the winery into a world-class sculpture park.



The tasting was a wonderful experience where Ivy paired four wines with small bites created by their executive chef Fiorella Butron.
